The Peacock Rooms Policies


For our customers convenience The Peacock Rooms provide an automated text reminder of all appointments, 48 hours before. If you need to cancel your appointment, we ask that it is done at this point. If appointments are cancelled with less than 48 hours notice or guests fail to attend an appointment, a 50% cancellation fee will be due and payment requested before any further bookings can be accepted.

We are aware that sometimes cancellations are unavoidable and if The Peacock Rooms should cancel your appointment on more than one occasion and cannot offer to accommodate you with another member of the team, you will receive a 50% discount off your next appointment.

Patch test

At The Peacock Rooms we always carry out a skin sensitivity test for all colour appointments, at least 48 hours prior to your booking.

Child safety policy

We respectfully request that you do not bring your children with you to appointments at The Peacock Rooms. Hair salon's are not safe environment's for children, especially as you will be unable to 100% supervise them, whilst you are having your service. Children are welcome in the salon on a Tuesday- Thursday but only whilst they are having a service.

 Deposits for bridal services and terms and conditions

At the time of booking your wedding day, your trial payment will be due in advance to secure your date in our diary. All bridal trial fees paid are non refundable, whether you decide to book your wedding day with us or not.Following a successful trial, you will be invoiced for your wedding balance in full. We allow 10 days for payment.Sunday wedding days will incur a 30% surcharge, as this is a day we are usually closed.

We are more than happy to accommodate changes in bridal party numbers, but ask that final changes are completed the week before your day. This allows us to manage staff availability.

Reasonable travel fees will be charged for all journeys.
